LondonFeminists.org is the website of a small group of London-based women who meet semi-regularly for tea, wine, cake and discussion about women’s issues.
We’re mostly in our 30s and 40s; some of us are gay, some straight, and some a bit of both; our group includes mothers, stepmothers and childless women; we share a love of fashion, cake, wine and feminism, and have a hatred of Observer Woman magazine.
This blog is where we occasionally post links, write about issues that concern us, and do write-ups of some of our meetings.

Hi,
I am contacting you on behalf of the Queen Mary University of London Equality group.
We host a lot of events throughout the year and wanted to start this year off with discussing the issues closest to our hearts and also to get everyone discussing equality and feminism.
Our first event will be a talk and discussion based around the question ‘What is Feminism?’
I am emailing to see if any of you would like to come and speak, presenting you answer to this question? If not you, do you know anyone who would be interesting in speaking at such an event?
Thanks a lot, I hope to hear from you soon.
Best wishes
Hannah Jenney
