I am actually really impressed with the media coverage this story has got. I expected there to be a lot of “feh, can’t they even take a joke? It’s peecee gorn mad” type of comments, but amazingly, even Sky appear to be appalled by this and have sacked Andy Gray for his remarks. Even Rio Ferdinand has weighed in to denounce his views as “prehistoric”.  Triple gins all round!
